Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS)

Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) will help you calculate your score based on your qualifications, and personal factors. The CRS is a points-based system that is used to assess, score, and rank it in the Express Entry pool. The points will be calculated depending on your

  • skills

  • education

  • language ability

  • work experience

  • personal factors (age, spouse, ties with Canada, etc.)

Total Score will be out of 1,200!

Maximum points comes from:

  1. Skills and experience factors

  2. Spouse or common-law partner factors, (their language skills and education)

  3. Skills: education and work experience

​

Additional 600 points comes from:

  1. Canadian degrees, diplomas or certificates

  2. a valid job offer

  3. a nomination from a province or territory

  4. a brother or sister living in Canada who is a citizen or permanent resident

  5. strong French language skills

Canadian Immigration System name the first base as 'human capital factors'
