Atlantic Immigration Program
Canada made its temporary Atlantic Immigration Pilot Program permanent in 2022.
The Atlantic Immigration Program is for skilled foreign workers and international graduates from a Canadian institution who want to work and live in 1 of Canada’s 4 Atlantic provinces—New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island or Newfoundland and Labrador.
The program helps employers hire qualified candidates for jobs they haven’t been able to fill locally.
After getting an approval message for the endorsement application, the candidate may then apply for permanent resident status in Canada.
The most important requirement for the designation is to be in continuous and active operation under the same management for at least 2 years in one of the Atlantic Provinces.
Exemptions:
Each of the requirement has their own exemptions depending on the NOC code, qualifications, employer, labour market needs, etc.
To apply, we strictly advise our clients to get professional help!
