What Happens After an Express Entry Invitation?
Receiving an Invitation to Apply (ITA) through Express Entry is a major milestone, but it starts a new, time-sensitive phase of the process.
The 60-day deadline
Once invited, candidates generally have 60 days to submit a complete application for permanent residence, including all supporting documents. Missing this deadline means the invitation expires.
What the application requires
This includes medical exams, police certificates, proof of funds, and confirmation of the information in your original Express Entry profile. Any inconsistency can delay or jeopardize the application.
